Having worked in sunny Sydney, Australia for the past 3 years. David has completed a Bachelor of Dentistry Degree with honours from the University of Sydney and has also obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Technology, Sydney and holds a graduate diploma in education from Macquarie University (Sydney).
David has worked in both the public and private sector in the hunter region of northern New South Wales. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and enjoys keeping up to date with the latest trends in dental technology.
Outside of work David has a keen interest in music and all things sports.
Dr. Shinger was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario, and is a graduate of the Schulich School of Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario.
Dr. Shinger believes an emphasis on patient comfort and treatment is very important. She is committed to dental care, which is why she is constantly upgrading her knowledge and skills.
She has completed training on the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants. As a result, she is able to treat many of her patients with missing teeth. She has also completed extensive training in Invisalign, to provide patients with an alternative to regular braces.
When not practicing dentistry, she likes travelling, hot yoga and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Natalia Trisna completed her Undergraduate degree in Optometry from the University of New South Wales before deciding to pursue her passion for Dentistry at the University of Sydney, Australia.
She was awarded the Colgate Award for Dental Research, the Australian Dental Research Foundation Award and her research on paediatric dentistry is soon to be published in the Australian Dental Journal.
She was also awarded the Dental Alumni Society Prize for Proficiency in Paediatric Dentistry and the Noel Martin Memorial Prize in Dentistry for consistent academic excellence in clinical aptitude, competence and professionalism.
Dr. Trisna is proficient in all aspects of dentistry but particularly enjoys root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and working with the little ones. She is certified to perform oral sedation and nitrous oxide (happy gas) for adults and young children who might feel apprehensive about dental treatment. She also completed a one-year Comprehensive Orthodontics program under Dr. Richard Litt through the Faculty for Orthodontic Research and Continuing Education. She is excited to offer traditional braces for the patients at Ainslie Street Dental who are looking to transform their smile.
Dr. Trevor Pinchin graduated from the University of Sydney Australia Dental School with honours, earning the award for top restorative dentist in his final year. He is also a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a double major in Medical Sciences and Biology.
Dr. Pinchin will be offering his services in Implant Dentistry, helping patients regain the ability to eat, speak, chew and live life with confidence!
Dr. Pinchin is excited to be spending more time in Cambridge working alongside his wife, Dr. Natalia Trisna, and the other talented doctors at Ainslie Street Dental Centre. He will be available by special appointment on weekends, and looks forward to connecting with the community in Cambridge.
Dr. John McIntosh graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Dentistry in 2002. He then went on to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery after graduating from The State University of New York at Buffalo.
Dr. McIntosh visits Ainslie Street Dental Centre to provide patients with Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. McIntosh also provides general anaesthesia and sedation options for patients experiencing anxiety.
Dr. Lindsay Shoniker was originally from northern Ontario prior to moving to the Cambridge area. She studied Biomedical Science at The University of Guelph. She then graduated from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. To gain more specialized knowledge of dentistry she completed a General Practice Residency at the Summa Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio.
The residency program has allowed her the opportunity to work as a member of a health care team in providing dental care to patients with a wide range of complex medical and dental needs. She is now very excited to join the Cambridge community and become part of the team at Ainslie Street Dental.
