  • Dr. David Fry

    General Dentist

    Having worked in sunny Sydney, Australia for the past 3 years. David has completed a Bachelor of Dentistry Degree with honours from the University of Sydney and has also obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Technology, Sydney and holds a graduate diploma in education from Macquarie University (Sydney).

    David has worked in both the public and private sector in the Hunter region of northern New South Wales. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and enjoys learning about the latest trends in dental technology.

    Outside of work David has a keen interest in music and all things sports.

  • Dr. John McIntosh

    Oral Surgeon

    Dr. John McIntosh graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Dentistry in 2002. He then went on to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery after graduating from The State University of New York at Buffalo.

    Dr. McIntosh visits Ainslie Street Dental Centre to provide patients with Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. McIntosh also provides general anesthesia and sedation options for patients experiencing anxiety.

  • Dr. Safaa

    General Dentist

    Dr. Safaa graduated from University of Baghdad with her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, she practiced as a general dentist overseas before landing in Canada, she completed her equivalency process with the national dental examination board of Canada and granted her license to practise dentistry in Ontario.

    Dr.Safaa is committed to continuing education in different scopes of dentistry. She provides dental treatment is all aspects of general dentistry, ranging from restorative and cosmetic dentistry, root canals, crowns and bridges, extractions,sedation, implants, Invisalign and dentures. Dr. Safaa believes that building strong relationship and trust with her patients is an essential factor in practicing dentistry and delivering optimum care.

    When not practicing dentistry, Safaa likes enjoying her time with her husband Dr. Layth who is a dentist practicing in Ontario and her boys (Adam and Elias).

  • Dr. Sukhraaj Shinger

    General Dentist

    Dr. Shinger was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario, and is a graduate of the Schulich School of Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario.

    Dr. Shinger believes an emphasis on patient comfort and treatment is very important. She is committed to dental care and believed in the value of constantly upgrading one's knowledge and skills.

    She has completed training on the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants. As a result, she is interested in helping to treat patients with missing teeth. She has also completed training in Invisalign, to provide patients with an alternative to regular braces.

    When not practicing dentistry, she likes travelling, hot yoga and spending time with her family and friends.

  • Dr. Mustafa Alani

    General Dentist

    Meet Dr. Alani, a dedicated dentist with a passion for helping people and addressing their dental needs. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA and has since excelled in various aspects of dentistry. During dental school, he conducted cancer research for the Department of Veterans Affairs and contributed to multiple publications.

    Dr. Alani's expertise includes surgical treatments, implant therapy, sleep apnea appliance therapy, aesthetics, and Invisalign orthodontic care. His commitment to patient satisfaction and his academic achievements have earned him recognition, including a Dean's honorary scholarship and multiple appreciation awards.

    In his free time, Dr. Alani finds joy in exploring the great outdoors. He loves hiking trails and going on cycling adventures, appreciating the beauty of nature and staying active outside of his dental profession.
